We often buy from Sparta. Best Italian food we have outside of Italy (we went there three years ago).

I visited today and had the Danish Cheese pizza. The sauce is quite delicious with an excellent blend of spices that is perfect for pizza. The cheese was the best tasting mozzarella I've had at any pizzeria here in Washington. The crust has excellent flavor and was a great match for ther sauce and toppings. I did not order other toppings, but given the quality of what I had, I am sure their meat and veggie toppings are of equally high quality. The pizza was cooked perfectly, neither burned nor undercooked, and it was probably the best pizza I've had in Washington since relocating here four years ago. This is truly great pizza!

Awesome food and service! The Sparta's Special pizza is delicious!! We haven't been there in a while and we were so happy. The food was very so wonderful!

Pro tip: Save money by signing up for their text messages because I did and it saved me a couple bucks. Regardless I would say this place is worth. Went here early on a Saturday as soon as they opened for some take out and they already had folks dining in, which I take as a great sign. The crust was absolutely perfectly crispy. I wish the bottom was just as crispy but it wasn't quite as perfect. However, I had some leftover and later when I tossed it in the air fryer the bottom turned out exactly how I wanted it without losing any of the original goodness.

Im not a huge pizza fan. But the few times ive had thier pizza its been top notch. There isnt a "crust" per say, so you didnt get the 1" border of bread and toppings near edge w the crispy edge. 5 pizza! The cheese we think we're told was a danish cheese, very buttery and creamy. Maybe thats the secret? Anyhoo, the salad was very crisp and not wet(like spag factory) and perfect to share, the housemade blue cheese was lovely, not sweetened(yuck) and we really liked its clean crispy simplicity. The slice of bread was tender but crispy top, so good. The service was fast, our server was very good, was a hard worker not overly nice and not distant. = PERFECT. Experience was great, will be my first choice for pizza. Weve ordered take out before for friends and have gotten great feedback from them as well. Weve gotten the house pizza? It was just as good but different of course, maybe it is just the cheese and no big crust for me? :) try em out, write a review!

I enjoyed the dinner. It's a small Mom and Pop's restaurant with a cozy atmosphere--great for small to medium parties. Went with my husband and his coworkers tonight where he ordered a 12" pizza and I got the ravioli and salad with Italian dressing. The Prosecco wine is sweet but not overbearing or bitter. It has a very nice aroma to go with the taste. The marinara sauce is also sweeter than I'm accustomed to, but it was very well made, and you can tell the restaurant places great care into their food. Service was excellent, and the server came regularly to check on us, refill our glasses, and communicate any delays due to the weekend dinner rush. The portions were perfect, and even though I didn't eat much, I was full just from the ravioli. Forget about bread and salad. That said, it was a healthy portion size and not ridiculously large. I feel that it was just enough to be satisfied on my cheat day but not leave me feeling like I'm starving later. I'd come here again if I ever return to the Seattle area.

This place does not disappoint. We especially love the pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms & black olives pizza. I order the Lambrusco wine. Husband prefers the Chianti. Service is always great.

Truthfully, the pizza is unique; yet it isn't my favorite style. It just never has over the years. However, I like to visit this place from time to time because of the family feel. The hiring of youth is a plus to me. This place does its fair share of that. Yet, food-wise, the Italian Specialties are worth the visit. I had the "Baked Italian." This dish is 3 fat sausage links w/ Danish Cheese, baked e/ tomato sauce to a golden brown. Though $19.95, it's a steal b/c it's a doggie bagging, two meals in one special. It comes with a Zeppelin size piece of garlic bread and salad. The other dishes ordered by my dining company looked as great as the aroma that lingered. See photos.

It is so hard to enjoy so much good food in a day... I'm beginning to fear for my way, but never regret how I did it in the first place. Smartest pizza is additional stop for me whenever I come home. It's right down the street where I spent my first formative years in Washington state as a child Coming back almost 45 years later. It's amazing to see that the food is just totally gotten better. I ordered a side, Caesar salad and a medium pepperoni with jalapeño pizza... This pizza is a little bit of a surprise lol let me tell you make sure you order extra water or whatever your beverage is because it definitely will warm your feet! The service was incredible super friendly and kept up with us the whole time I didn't have to ask for anything. If you want good traditionally made pizza in a wonderful dining environment this is a place that you will go to the atmosphere so pleasant and there's so many other dining options. I also must recommend the fettuccine Alfredo... But not if you're trying to lose weight lol welcome those pounds. They're delicious.!
